Google Pixel 3 Review

Pretty unanimously voted the Best Smartphone of 2018- the Google Pixel 3 is also my daily driver. Is it still good in August 2019? Yes! Obviously I'm kind of biased towards it a little. But, you can check out other reviews in the spirit of fairness, they mostly will agree.

The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL takes the BEST photos (at least the BEST of 2018), even in the lowest of lights. Just one rear lens, remember? Has IP68 water resistance, and can use AI to screen calls.

Let me tell you about my favourite feature about this phone: the 'now playing' feature. Oh! If you were a millennial, born in India to love music of mostly obscure bands that come on once in a while on radio and you never get the name... you know the frustration. Or, maybe the same happened at a mall or a club. Rather than having to remember to lyrics to search for it later or typing it up somewhere on your mobile, the Pixel 3 will tell you what you're listening to. Even that distant sound you thought you knew playing somewhere. Well, unless you're a security junkie, in which case you might want to turn it off. It picks up sounds within a few hundred meters easily.

One of the best cameras, regular Google updates, Now Playing, the smoothness of pure Android, good battery life, one-handed usability are enough reason to buy one in 2019 unless you're a stickler for having the latest.

At good discounts of over 25% on Amazon, the case is strong in my opinion for the Pixel 3 in 2019. Google has also introduced the Google Pixel 3a and Google Pixel 3a XL in 2019 to cater to more mid-range consumers.
